We completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge with Iain on Saturday just gone. He was a great guide to have from Start to finish. Iain was down to earth, full of local knowledge and made those 26 miles ish bearable. He went at our groups pace, lots of good tips shared and was an excellent motivator! We also got told many interesting travelling stories which kept us occupied for hours. Would highly recommend Iain to others for a challenge such as this. Thanks Iain 😃

For Iain: Iain was an absolutely incredible guide. He was kind, patient, motivating and full of interesting information about the local area. When the going got tough for me, Iain walked slowly with me and ensured the pace was set to my needs too. He was also funny and down to earth, qualities which really came in handy over the 26 mile course. I have never done something like this before and although I am still recovering, I’m already wondering about another adventure. If I needed a guide to walk anywhere, Iain would be my first choice. I know my friends Rach and Nic feel the same- they think he is excellent too. Iain also took some amazing photos of us , so that we can treasure our memories forever.

We had a half days abseiling in a quarry. Neither of us had abseiled for 25 years and were a bit apprehensive being the wrong side of 70, especially when we saw the drop!
Iain was very reassuring, explained and demonstrated everything very clearly and we were soon going over the top.

Did not know what to expect on this course (apart from maps and compasses) but I learned so much. I can't believe how I can have looked at maps for all these years and missed on the wealth of information they contain. Iain and Hayley looked after us so well and carefully made the time to help us with the issues we struggled with individually(pacing - sheesh, I just can't keep count). Well worth it.

Having done canyoning in the Brecon Beacons previously i decided to treat my son in law to the experience. We spent half a day with Iain at Coniston Beck and had a great experience. Some of the jumps were heart in the mouth but well worth it. I would recommend this to anyone willing to “have a go”.

Having been gorge walking in 2012 and Canadian canoeing in 2013 my son Paul and I went kayaking with Iain on the River Lune on the first weekend in August. Once again Iain was meticulous with his planning and on river safety instruction which came in very handy when I rolled my kayak and needed to release myself from the craft. We have now enjoyed 3 different types of adventure with Iain and have thoroughly enjoyed every trip and are now deciding which activity to undertake next year.

What a fabulous time we had caving with Iain. We were once keen and very active cavers whilst at Uni, but life got in the way and almost 20 years later we were able to come back to Ingleton and visit Browgill with Iain – an extremely friendly and professional leader whose knowledge of the local cave systems helped us relive some of the trips we had all those years ago. Iain was brilliant with our son, Alex, 10, who was keen to go on his first proper adventure underground, having visited White Scar Show Cave a few days earlier. We had a thoroughly enjoyable few hours underground and would absolutely recommend a trip with Iain of KMS for his enthusiasm and passion for the great outdoors!

Fantastic afternoon with Iain. Expert tuition and as a father of two young children I had every confidence in his guidance on this exhilarating activity, with the potential for accidents with less assured guides. Myself and 8 others recently spent an afternoon Ghyll scrambling as part of my friend Daniels Stag do. KMS we’re great at helping me organise the event and the scrambling itself was really well organised with the correct equipment and guidance provided by Iain. The weather was cold and wet which when added to scrambling down a cold wet Ghyll made it an even greater challenge which we all enjoyed, providing much to talk about in the evening out afterwards! I look forward to using KMS services in the future and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you again Iain!
